I had high hopes for this brand. This particular one, modeled somewhat after Panerai, had easy to see markers in dim light but just doesn't come up to what I would expect from a new watch maker. They need to distinguish themselves with a little something special. Give us a decent face (number 12 looks strange close up). Give us some decent lume (this stuff lasts about an hour). Give us a good finish on the case (the edges are sharp and you can see the lack of detail that you might find in a higher end watch). Give us a 10 year battery life (no, nothing about that here either).



Golana is a low end Swiss watch maker.



If you want a good value low end Swiss watch look at Tissot. They start with the pr50. It has a wrapped band, but a sapphire crystal and a bit of class and style. The battery in the quartz lasts 5-10 years and the automatic is one of the best values you will find on a Swiss movement.



Sorry Golana. Spend your money on a quality product and less on the movies.
